MILAN EXCLUSIVE TOURS
- Savona/Tortona areas, graphic, design and handcraft: this tour starts from Porta Genova Railway Station, one of the first born stations of the city, then through the pedestrian iron bridge will go to take us to one of the coolest areas, entirely re-developed, from ex industrial, to a fashion, design and graphic area. We’ll see new architectures and corners of the old Milan, with its “banister houses”, ex industrial buildings transformed into thematic lofts. With previous reservation, it’s possible to visit the Scala Labs and the Brancati tayloring, the Costume Supplier for the Scala. Will follow the Restoration Studios Formica, among the most important in Europe. Lunch at Bugatti’s.
- Castle, Sempione park, Arch of Peace, Triennale and aperitif at “Just Cavalli”: This tour offers you the possibility to discover one of the most beloved places of Milanese people: their Castle. The visit will take you inside the museum of ancient art where you will see Michelangelo’s last sculpture the “Pietà Rondanini”, and then the private Ludovic Sforza’s dining room frescoed by Leonardo like a pergola. A pleasant walk through the park will take us to the Arch of Peace, and then to Triennale Museum of design. To finish an open air aperitif at “Just Cavalli”, one of the coolest bar of the city.
- Bicocca tour – the re-development of the ex industrial areas: a particular tour for people interested in this architectural style. Through the archaeological industrial park (ex Breda, an historical metal-mechanic factory) we’ll reach the Bicocca University, the Hangar, the Pirelli Headquarter and the Arcimboldi Theatre. Meeting-point to be reached by car or local transports, or ask for different solution.
3 hours - Contemporary architecture, in Milan there are many appreciable new buildings with new architectural style but they are not so close one to another. This tour will consider the most suggestive ones.
