- Mediolanum, from Celtic, Roman origins to the early-Christian art: very interesting, for generally wide cultured people. Departing from Piazza Cordusio, we’ll go through the sites of the roman Milan, which became capital of the western roman empire from the end of the third century B.C. The Forum, the Theatre, one of the remaining towers of the city-walls, the ruins of the imperial palace, the Amphitheatre, the ruins of the Circus, Saint Lorenzo’s Columns, Saint Ambrose Basilica, and on client’s request the archaeological Museum.
- Milan renaissance: a pleasant leap into the past history and art of the city, for people who love to discover important beautiful places, but not so popular. From the “Cà Granda” (big house) an early renaissance building, to the “witches” of “cà dei tencitt” (the houses of stainers), a stroll through the Guastalla gardens to reach Saint Maria della Passione, probably the most suggestive church of the city, than the Verdi Academy of music, the tour will end in San Babila square.
- From Navigli canals to the new architecture: A pleasant walk along one of the most alive areas, an opportunity to get to know the real life of the city and the many spots (restaurants, pubs etc.) where you may return in the evening. The Lombard courts with the typical banister houses, the park of Basilicas, via Torino, the Duomo, the Arcade, the Scala opera theatre, Brera area with the famous art gallery building, Corso Como, the new building of Lombardia Region.
- Corso Venezia; the quadrangle of fashion and… silence: for lovers of elegance and nobiliary architecture. This tour takes you to an area among the most famous in the world, with its residential streets, designer buildings, and all you may expect from fashion. A stroll through the romantic gardens of Royal Villa Belgiojoso, will take us to Porta Venezia area to admire beautiful buildings liberty and neo-classical style.
- Brera area and the picture gallery: art lovers cannot miss this tour; departing from Piazza Scala, we’ll take you to Brera art gallery, where you’ll see famous Italian painters’ operas, we’ll then visit the botanic orchard and the astronomic observatory. On Client’s request we may book the visit to the Museum of Risorgimento, too.
